#ThroughTheCracks

Beneath life’s heavy burdens, I endure,
With wounds unseen, yet steadfast and sure.
My fragile heart, it trembles and strains,
But love’s gentle touch forever sustains.

In each tear shed, my spirit finds its solace,
Within life’s intricate, uncertain space.
Through the darkest night, hope’s faintest gleam,
Guides me through, like a lucid, hopeful dream.

Though scars endure, and wounds persist in ache,
I won’t forsake this journey that I make.
As time’s embrace begins to softly mend,
Its healing power emerges in the end.

So let me cherish every fractured part,
With an open heart, I’ll make a fresh start.
For in my vulnerability, I’m alive,
A testament to the strength in how I survive.

#SerenadedbyEnriqueIglesias

Eleven years have come and gone, yet the memory of that unforgettable night in Pune remains etched in my heart like it was just yesterday. It was October 17, 2012 when I attended Enrique Iglesias’ concert, a night that still fills me with a sense of saudade, warmth, and joy. As I sit down to reminisce and relive that magical evening, I can’t help but be overwhelmed by the emotions that have been dormant for so long.

The excitement leading up to the concert was palpable. Enrique, was coming to Pune, and I couldn’t believe my luck. I had been a fan of his music for as long as I could remember, and this was an opportunity of a lifetime. The weeks of anticipation, the discussions about what to wear, and the endless playlists of his hits only added to the thrill.

When the day finally arrived, the butterflies in my stomach were in full flight. I had managed to secure tickets close to the stage, and that made my heart race with anticipation. As the sun set over the Pune skyline, the air grew electric with excitement. The venue was packed, and the energy was contagious. We were all there for one reason – to lose ourselves in the music and Enrique’s magnetic presence.

When the lights dimmed and the first chords of “Hero” resonated through the speakers, a collective cheer erupted from the crowd. That magical voice, a voice that had serenaded me through countless moments in my life, was now filling the open air. As he appeared on the stage, the crowd erupted into a frenzy, and I felt like my heart would burst with joy.

Enrique was a true showman. His energy was infectious, and he had a way of connecting with each and every one of us. His smile, his moves, and his genuine enthusiasm for performing were evident. It was as if he was singing just for me, for each one of us in the crowd. His performance was more than just music; it was a journey into the heart and soul of an artist who truly loved what he did.

The night was filled with hits, from “Bailamos” to “Escape” to “I Like It”, and many more. Every note, every lyric, transported me to a different time and place. The crowd swayed, sang along, and danced like there was no tomorrow. It was a night of pure bliss, a night when nothing else in the world mattered.

As the concert reached its crescendo, I couldn’t help but reflect on the beauty of the moment. Eleven years ago, I was young, full of dreams, and full of life. That night, surrounded by thousands of strangers who shared my passion for Enrique’s music, I felt a deep sense of connection and belonging. It was a reminder of the power of music to bring people together, to make us feel alive, and to evoke a profound sense of wistfulness.

Now, looking back, I realize that time has passed, and life has taken its course. The years have brought new experiences, new challenges, and new joys. Yet, that night in Pune remains a cherished memory, a time capsule of pure happiness. Hiraeth is a beautiful thing; it allows us to relive moments like these, to hold on to them and to be grateful for the memories they create.

As I sit here today, I can’t help but smile at the memory of that magical evening. Enrique’s music will forever be a part of my life, and that concert will forever be a source of memories and warmth. It’s a reminder that even as time moves forward, there are certain moments that stay with us, moments that make us who we are.

So here’s to nostalgia, to the music that becomes the soundtrack of our lives, and to the unforgettable nights that shape our hearts. And to Enrique Iglesias, thank you for being the artist who made that night in Pune a night to remember for a lifetime.
